I don't think Independent artist get enough credit. Its not easy to find beats, write, record, find a good engineer, get the song mixed and mastered, take care of the album art, promote the release. You are trying to compete with major labels that seem to have unlimited funds

Step 1. Send basic beat sketch to artist. STEP 2. Artist records and sends back vocal stems. STEP 3. Complete the production around the artist. STEP 4. Mix STEP 5. Master That's how we make bangers.

Hears a few tips for artists recording their own vocals. 1. Set your input gain correctly. - do not clip, try to record so you are peaking at aroundb -6db. 2. Back off the mic. - when you eat the mic your recording can sound muffled and there is something called the

If a producer and an artist collab on a record, all parties should be promoting the release. It should be common sense, but I see situations all the time when this does not happen. It is something that I cannot wrap my head around.
