-The two p2w items (60m scavs) are exclusively for PvE offline, not real Pvp raids
-Pockets upgrade achievable in game

Next stage of the story. Certainly not perfect, but a big improvement on the previous stances - probably 90% of what we wanted imo.
We don't know the price of the standalone version of PvE, but EOD getting it on release of 1.0 is just about OK.

The main sticking point is the PvE mode - EOD people very likely don't care about most of this other stuff (buying limits, rep etc).
Limiting it to 6 months of access... Just doesn't do it I'm afraid

One second after reset, the barter is gone - 300k fee for those that can't camp the trader!
Trader resets are the worst mechanic in EFT's economy. Perhaps a "pre-order" system that lets you queue for a reset in advance would be better, while still giving scarcity that BSG wants?

I'd love to see polls of these topics on the launcher. Otherwise you risk listening to the loud minority when everyone else is silently content.

I believe you want to get rid of item restrictions on flea (for example you can’t trade m995 ammo). I think this is not a good idea cause everyone will get access to high end weapons/gear. What do you think?

Does anyone else get random bullet cracks with the new audio btw? eg when inside a room, outside shots play the crack sound even when it's impossible?
Not knowing if bullets are coming past you or not is probably THE most annoying bug for me personally within the sound issues

Sometimes I wonder why car extracts, of all things, were chosen to level scav rep.
Killing a PMC AND a traitor scav, plus extracting (rare) nets 0.07 - this should be MUCH higher imo, they simply don't compare to the v-exfils

I disagree tbh, the early game is mostly agreed to be the most fun and removing all the restrictions guts this to around a week and a half.
Imo the progression system we have now is the best it's been in years - and this is from the creator that probably plays less than the rest

I know the stats thing in Tarkov has been dominated by cheat discussions, but I honestly love the fact that we can now see the exact loadout of the player that kills you.
Really does help in analysing deaths vs just the "9mm PST - Head, eyes" that we got before

I think this is the biggest issue now we've had a little bit to think about it.
A new character+mode for the base game REALLY should come under the EOD version too.
Why did BSG not create a whole new version for the PvE mode AND give EOD buyers (Who were promised all extra content free of charge) the perks as well?
If this isn't extra DLC, I don't know what is anymore...

If BSG are committed to no preset swaps mid game in Arena, I think that *ranked* should have a draft like a MOBA, and maybe a cap on the same presets used per team.
Ban/pick rounds would allow the most busted presets to be removed, and the pregame would be more interesting imo

Worrying about ip theft feels like a waste of time. Tarkov can't be replicated by copying models imo. There's a reason people always come back- it isn't this

we are pretty positive on some cases already, for example some of the gun sounds - 100% stolen (AK74 sounds) some if weapon mods what we saw - stolen too. AK models too. exact level layouts, some of the buildings. we are making this list

The three big items that have to be solved to remove FiR properly are:
- Trader flipping
- Hatchet runners
- Early wipe progression
If you just remove FiR without solving these things, old problems come back to haunt us. FiR was not the best, but it did fix these things

After playing

for about 5 hours on stream today and another 2 off, I am very pleased that the memory leak issues do seem to be fixed.
Although performance is not ideal, no crashes at all & off stream I mostly get 55-60 fps with the 5800x3d and 3070 in 1440p

Another day, another update. Basically, EOD owners will get PvE now but rolled out in waves, and BSG are going to add mod support for PvE post launch.
Some other balancing stuff too, but mods especially is a pretty important change of stance.

It's universally too loud. Something should be adjusted, in my opinion either:
a) Scale volume MUCH more strongly with ergonomics (so there is a way to shorten the range of the audio dramatically by taking ergo high on a weapon
b) Give an option for "slow ads" to reduce the noise

This is honestly a fail. Due to having to complete the full 8 hours in one go, the earliest UK players can do is 1pm to 10pm, or the latest being 5am to 1pm.
On this basis I will be pulling out of the challenge as it's simply not workable with my IRL schedule.

So... the AlienTech muzzle has been nerfed into oblivion, from -19% to -11%. It's now much worse than the Bulletec despite being find in raid only, and effectively a carbon copy of the Blitz which is never used.

Open servers with PMCs entering and exiting dynamically - would require some element of loot respawning and dynamic spawns too but I think it's the only way to prevent the first 3 minutes of each raid feeling like learning chess openings!
