By the end of the event, I’m proud to say that we accomplished exactly what we set out to do. The event served as a platform to build momentum for the MTR movement while sharing exciting updates about our upcoming Token Generation Event (TGE) on RealtyX_Dao. Reflections on the Ondo Summit and the Future of Onchain Finance I wasn’t able to attend the Ondo Summit in person, but I’ve been closely following the discussions and key takeaways from the event. From everything I’ve seen, it was a significant moment for the future of onchain finance and real-world assets (RWAs). @OndoFinance has been a driving force in bringing institutional-grade financial products onchain, and the summit highlighted their next major step: Ondo Chain. A new Layer 1 built specifically for financial institutions, designed in collaboration with BlackRock, PayPal, Morgan Stanley, Franklin Templeton, Google Cloud, and more. The message was clear—RWAs are going onchain, and institutions are now actively participating in shaping that transition. Ondo Chain and Wall Street 2.0 A big focus at the summit was how Ondo Chain is positioned as Wall Street 2.0—an environment tailored for institutions to move their financial operations onto blockchain infrastructure. This makes sense. Ondo pioneered bringing U.S. Treasury Bills onchain, and their products like OUSG ($265M+ onchain) and USDY ($385M+ onchain) have shown that institutional demand for tokenized assets exists. The summit reinforced that their approach is about bridging traditional finance with DeFi in a structured, compliance-ready way. But for all the talk about institutions coming onchain, one key question remains—who is actually buying these assets? Plume and the Buy Side This is where Plume enters the conversation.
