Barack Obama infamously was going to attend Super Bowl XLV in North Texas until the Packers ruined that by beating the Bears in the NFC Championship. To which Charles Woodson declared, “We’re gonna go see him!” And they did.
It is utterly astonishing Trump is the first president to attend a Super Bowl. That has nothing to do with politics at all either.
