While not the result Derry wanted taking these men to their first @UlsterGAA championship game was a massive thing. I grew up following @Doiregaa everywhere in the 90s and those are my childhood memories-hope it’s same for these guys, nephew even made @bbcchampionship coverage 😆

Telling the wee man at Parnell Park yesterday I played on that pitch he says “you are always bragging about pitches you played on every time we go to one” 🙈🙈. Well now he can say he played on it too - albeit the only two big ball men there, they didn’t brave the hurls 🏐🏐💪💪

First came across Stephen 'Jinxy' Gollogy as a 14 year old in Corn na nOg and marked him continuously right up through to Ulster championship football. Not only a quality footballer but hard as nails. Great servant for Monaghan.

Great way to celebrate the under 21 team of 1968. So many went on to give so much to the GAA in Derry and it’s no coincidence that in the 70’s Derry competed well in Ulster with a few titles. Congrats and enjoy 🙌🔴⚪️🔴⚪️.
