A very informative and emotive panel discussion chaired by Senator Lynn Ruane with academics who have conducted research on drug related bereavement, and panel members who have firsthand personal experience of drug use and drug related death. #NaloxoneSavesLives

Great day today at the @corkpride parade with friends, colleagues and at @CorkCityFire. Despite the weather, there was a great turnout with a sea of colour 🌈, smiles and fun.

This is what community first response is all about. A rewarding volunteer role that enables communities to save lives. CFRs respond ahead of and alongside the National Ambulance Service crews and are making a real difference all around the country.
David Kelly of Glynn Killurin First Responder Group got this heart-warming thank you from a patient's wife after her husband was brought to hospital. CFRs play an essential role, attending emergency calls in their communities in those vital minutes before the ambulance arrives.
