I really don’t care about Barstool Wake because it’s usually nonsense. But seeing people use their Mountain West troll to say that Wake couldn’t handle that conference is wild. I would love to see a MW team play 20 ACC games and see what happens. Good luck.

If you’ve been a Wake fan since the Odom and Prosser days, then you know the standard for this program is the NCAA Tourney. Forbes has done wonders for this program and got shafted in 21-22 but until you make a tourney, this program isn’t ‘back’.

7-5 is not acceptable. 0-3 in the state of NC is not acceptable. Sure, the platitudes of the program being where it is now is nice and all but this team shouldn’t even have sniffed five losses with the amount of talent returning.

Last night, Cam Hildreth had 13 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 block and 3 steals. Now that is a hell of a night. Ohhhhhh and don’t forget he guarded Blake Hinson basically the whole night and really locked him up and got in his head. Truly a great performance.

The ACC needs Josh Pastner to keep sounding the horn for the league in Primetime or something cause he did a great job today during the Wake game. Explaining to everyone who will listen that metrics don’t tell all, but people who understand basketball know it’s a good league.

I love seeing all the people who said because Wake was a favorite by the betting lines that it wasn’t an upset … okay. That’s not how it works. One team is top 10 in the country and the other isn’t ranked. That’s how that works, folks.

Wake is gonna get that big ugly fucking road game shadow off their back. I know it’s Georgia Tech but that’s been a house of horrors for Wake at times and Tech has beaten Duke and UNC in this building, so this is exactly what Wake needed to do and by margin as well.

I love how you conveniently leave out the program in NC & ACC that continues to do more with less and that’s Wake Forest. Have done it with two different head coaches actually and only NC school to win ACC title since champ game was created and have been to another as well

Wake Forest has made 2 appearances in the Championship game and 1 win. Duke has 1 appearance and UNC has 1 appearance, NC State has 0. You point falls flat when you leave out Wake Forest just to argue about UNC and NCSU. A bit lazy there.

8 Q1/2 wins ain’t shabby. I know Wake’s hopes are on life support but that’s a good number. One bad loss, awful road record, like every team not firmly in their resume has warts and I am not saying they should be in but that’s a lot more quality wins than some fucking teams.

Wake has everything going for it but their resume/wins. It’s killing them right now, and rightfully so. But, if you go out and get 2 of the 3 Q1 games left on your schedule, even add 1-2 in ACCT, there will be no argument to keep you out. Plain and simple. Leave no doubt.

The only knock against Wake Basketball at the moment is their lack of Q1 games and wins. Obviously BC was a Q1 win at the time and maybe it becomes one again later, but they have to win multiple in order to get into the tourney and win on the road, more than just twice.

Colorado State dominating Utah State likely helps Wake and gets that bunch of teams around Florida to shuffle enough to give Wake a Q1 win. Wake’s win against Florida continues to age well.
