With four members gone from Norwich City Council, Labour no longer holds a majority. Before this evening Labour held 23 seats on the city council, the Greens 13 and the Lib Dems three. The make-up is now Labour 19, Greens 13, Independents four, and Lib Dems three.

Massive upset for Labour in Sewell, which has voted to reject incumbent Matt Packer. He will be replaced by the Green's Alex Cat. Mr Packer was a member of the cabinet so this will be a massive blow for the Labour administration.

It's been a tumultuous day both locally and nationally for the Conservatives. One of the biggest names to fall in Norfolk is the leader of Broadland District Council, Shaun Vincent. Mr Vincent lost his seat to the Green's James Harvey by 76 votes.
