@blak661 Main reason I have a side arm on most my kit setups is because there are almost no strictly rifle competitions. Almost all out there are either 2 gun or 3 gun. But they would come off my kit if the need ever arose to actually go out and patrol and such.

@88softailherita Nice. I’ve used some of the 69 gr freedom munitions ammo and it’s been pretty good. A bit more consistent than the 77gr AAC. But also a bit more expensive.

@88softailherita 50 yard group with it earlier this year from prone with a bipod. I’ve had two bad rnds out of about 1500. But at 50 to 60 cents a rnd it’s hard to beat.

@88softailherita Yeah I mainly use 77gr AAC. I may have to hoof it to the next hill then I can stretch it out to 600 or more.

@stankycheeese It would be an issue if any of my shooting buddies were into it as much as I am lol. They are all casual and barely have anything that would qualify as a scope on their guns lol

@88softailherita Yep I plan to chrono this rifle and true it to at least 400 before my DMR class in March.

@stankycheeese Pretty much. I have a DMR class in March which should help with the process as well.

@dragonflyranch5 I’m not sure lol. To be honest if shot to 400 and 500 yards and not had to make windage adjustments yet. In western Pa we are shooting up or down valleys fairly protected from the wind.

@TravisB20876602 @BtDub6 Get out there and zero it! You do t need spring time weather for that. I’ll be out in the next week or two to zero mine and confirm holds to 400ish meters. Hopefully going to get the adjustable gas block dialed in today.

Go train, get comfortable being uncomfortable and become a better you!
We all need to get back into our training habits. We need to vigilant every day. You are your own first responder. Get training, learn your equipments capabilities, get out and get cold, wet and dirty. No one is coming to help. We are on our own.

@xMajorKills Yeah I have chrono data and have used a different ballistic calculator to get at least a rough start. I’ll get it all confirmed out to at last 400 ish meters in the coming weeks.
