And our article describing the surface dispersal of staphylococci in the presence of lubricating mucins is now published in @mbiojournal My lab’s first stab into the ecophysiology of staph involved in cross-infections.
🔆Our latest work describes how staphylococci rapidly disperse on mucosal surfaces without appendages for locomotion once they reach quorum. Work with @Jacob2Kristin Santiago Hernandez-Villamizar, and @NealHammer1
