My Dad too.
As the NHS celebrates 72 years this weekend my Dad has just gone back to work after 3 months away due to Covid19. He’s been an NHS doctor for 58 of those 72.

It’s 20 years this last week since I moved from reporter to Presenter @BBCWorld and BBCNews; it was days before 9/11; staggering to think of what’s happened since then and where we are now. Huge thanks to all my amazing colleagues 🙏❤️. the best!

Happy 90th Birthday Dr Krishnan Guru-Murthy! He's at work today as usual, in the NHS, where he must surely by now be the longest serving Consultant Radiologist on record. He became an NHS doctor when he arrived in the UK in 1962 and was made a consultant in the early 1970s. Here

My Mother has had her first, when she catches up with my Dads two jabs he can return to work as an NHS doctor. now in his eighties.
