Isha is so powerful in JinxΒ΄s life to be killed off just for the sake of "shock value". She was the key for JinxΒ΄s arc and the only way to get a good ending. Ending her story too soon was only to cause controversy and it was cruel and lazy writing.

I can also add the artbook, which Jinx's view of the characters is not entirely canon, bc Jinx doesn't break the fourth wall, she is not aware of Mel, Salo, the other 2 dead councilors and even Jayce. Also, it's a CONCEPT ART, it doesn't need further explanation.

@ookami_sempai I actually find the whole timebomb ship problematic as well, Ekko x Powder, it's fine, it works pretty well, but Jinx x Ekko doesn't, especially on Jinx's side. I think the whole intention of the ship is to stay as a "What could have been", that's the reason they made ep 7.

AU Powder wouldn't even think to call herself Jinx and our Jinx feels triggered when someone calls her Powder most of the time (When Viktor calls her like that, also in season 1 with Vi). Their different life experiences mark who they are and how they see the world.
