Adam Toledo was shot & killed while illegally possessing a firearm & turning toward an officer after fleeing down an alley. Officers were responding to a call of shots fired in the area. He was a threat to public safety. I commend the officers for their actions that night.
Johnson on Lightfoot’s foot pursuit policy that went into effect last summer: “I agree with it. I believe Adam Toledo would be alive if he wasn’t chased down and gunned down and killed.”
