That's true 👍, especially when we have crazy inflation to worry about! BUT I do think both codes could support each other more, share resources and knowledge. Imagine a dual code international season pass valid for both. Powerful one nation statement of togetherness.
@GavinMPrice @EFL @Cymru It kind of is a competition between the two when it comes to competing for punters' £££ though - people may support both, but the more money someone spends on football, the less they've got to spend on rugby (and vice versa)

Popular myth, espec in today’s era. There have always been more football clubs & leagues in Wales, plus the top 4 Welsh @EFL clubs are now more popular. Biggy is @Cymru national footy teams are doing well and better aligned with younger gens. It’s not a comp though support both.
@CardiffRugbyWeb I think Scotland have no choice but 2-3 pro teams, because rugby is a distant second to soccer in terms of popularity so supporter numbers won't sustain more. That isn't the case in Wales is it? Rugby is the biggest sport there?

We are left for dust by many European nations in this regard. Also, it blows my mind that I am unable to get a direct public transport link from Cymru’s 3rd biggest city (Newport) to our national airport (Cardiff CWL) - it’s not like it’s very far either, neighbouring cities!
@GavinMPrice @tfwrail @WelshLabour The cost of public transport in Wales (UK) is prohibitive. We’re in Kaunas, Lithuania at the moment, travelled 14km by bus from the airport to the city centre for €1, the bus was full and far less cars on the road.

Key contributing factor why Welsh (across UK) economy is struggling. £8.70 rtn to go just 1 stop from Pye Corner to Cardiff (approx 10km) on @tfwrail 🤷♂️ Scandalous fare gouging, business unfriendly and little wonder roads are clogged! @WelshLabour

I guess so. Usually I have a season ticket so never been an issue, but knew I’d be missing many games this season by being overseas. That said, just because it has been this way still does not mean it is not OTT. Lunchtime today maybe for home fans 🤷♂️

Absolutely OTT from @gwentpolice and club - just back from Australia to discover this and it has put a right dampener on the weekend. I mean you can't get a police response for burglary, anti social stuff and now they're actively making life hard! Hurting Npt’s economy also 🤷♂️
