What a football club this is
How many sporting directors are phoning 85-year-old ST holders at half 9 on a Good Friday morning
Dad was struggling... can't even begin to describe the lift this has given him
Thank you

"Boris Johnson wants us to believe nothing else could have been done. No British Prime Minister has told a greater lie."
FAO Premier League recruitment teams:
Cantwell - Big Time Charlie. Flicky and farty. Just one goal this season. ONE!
Buendia - Short fuse. Walking red card, Complete hot-head. Total liability
Aarons - Short arse. Vulnerable at back stick. Never slings a cross in
You're welcome
So, that

"This is a profoundly dangerous moment for our democracy; one which goes far beyond one grubby narcissist"
Just an average Championship side… nothing more.
Win a few… lose a few. Raise our hopes… crush them a few days later.
The cycle continues.
Bang average.
"Now is the time for everyone to stop all non-essential contact with others and to stop all unnecessary travel. We need people to start working from home." says Boris Johnson.

Lots of blubbing. C’mon people... we lost a game... were a bit unlucky, but defended like Ipswich on the day. We’re still 2nd... Leeds lost... and it’s impossible to be cross with this bunch
This is James O'Brien's utterly savage and epic takedown of 'monstrous bullying coward' Boris Johnson on his last day as PM.
LBC listeners are branding it James' most exceptional monologue yet!

Haven't the slightest inkling who the next

manager will be, but I do know I'd like it be someone who's glad to be here and doesn't feel like it's him doing us a favour
Relegation's been nailed on for three weeks
That's not what folk are angry about (I don't think)
It's how gut-less and insipid they've been since the restart that really rankles
Sad about Stiepi but sounds like the right decision on a human level
Good player, unorthodox, bit frustrating at times but, above all, a thoroughly decent bloke
Go well fella
Carragher has (quietly rightly) slaughtered us all evening but it was his “like watching Southampton first team vs Norwich Under 23s” barb that resonated the most
He was right
Spent most of yesterday in the hands of the NHS after Dad suffered what transpires was a mini-stroke, and literally can't speak highly enough of the staff at

.
The system is clearly broken, so too the staff but they soldier on in the bleakest of circumstances. 1/

toing and froing is soooo tiring.
So…
You have a better team than us.
You have a better organisation than us.
You have won more major trophies than us.
You should have won on Saturday but didn’t.
You haven’t beaten us in 13 games.
The debate on the merits (or otherwise) of Leitner baffles me. Oozed quality and then had an unfortunate injury. Would have him back in a heartbeat. Here’s hoping...
Don't begrudge Leeds their promotion one bit - took them long enough, but well deserved
But already hacked off at national journos salivating over a "proper football club" being back in PL, inferring that some in the PL are not (and probably meaning us)
Not suggesting Dean Smith needs to go on a charm offensive to win over the doubters (because nothing's winning them over), but a bit more of this wouldn't go amiss...
... I’ve kept my powder dry since, even during a decade of City dominance, knowing my day would. He knows who is, and my answer to his stupid question is “no, I’m not sat crying in the corner; I’m too busy laughing... so fuck you... and enjoy League One”

In almost every other club in the country, questions would be asked of Wagner’s suitability.
In almost every other club in the country, Webber would be thanked for the good things but then politely shown the door.

They’re right about Carrow Road being tepid - so far so good - but has it not occurred to them its directly related to the shite that’s been dished up?
Saturday was always going to be interesting but now…
Okay... am officially struggling with this now
Just a crumb of good news would've been be something
Well done to all of you who have mocked and ignored the rules over the last month
Bastards
So, just out of curiosity, which set of entitled Premier League fans do we expect Stuart Webber to piss off first in his game of transfer window hardball?
I'm going with Tottenham
So... get this right: Lambert’s tantrum was the fault of the police, the City bench, the stewards, our players, and he was merely reacting to the provocation. Yeah? Righto 👌🏻
And now it’s apparently wrong to feel angry because City are shit and have just been relegated
If someone could confirm how I’m supposed to be feeling, I’ll try my best to conform
Cheers

Twitter is supposed to be light-hearted and fun isn't it? Yet even within the

community some people are having to delete their accounts, have a break, or are struggling because of the actions and words of others
This can't be right
Somewhat of a snub for promoted Norwich, despite meeting Turnbull & with the lure of Premier league football, he rejected them for Celtic.. The Canaries clearly still need beefing up with quality wide players by my reckoning
Hopes for the new season:
▪️That Dean Smith isn’t pounced upon if we’re not top after four games
▪️That he develops an identifiable style of play
▪️That Pukki stays fit
▪️That Cantwell plays well and people stop calling him “Toddy”
▪️That we win sometimes
Overly optimistic?
