I like how she tries to gaslight him into thinking that she did nothing wrong, and yet reality still tries to sink into him to the point to where he is still questioning if it was his fault or not. Not only that but his world even goes mad from this.

Unfortunately, they are kinda right. There are audiences that believe that conservative mindset.
However, animation has come a long way and I think people are slowly starting to understand more and more that animation is NOT just for kids.
