I’ve never understood the ferocious resistance to missile defense amongst American analysts. It’s like they’re wedded to the idea of MAD. It would be better to switch the D from Destruction to Denial.
"Space-based missile defense didn't work in the 1980s" is really not the slam that critics think it is. Like, yeah, 40 years is kind of a long time when it comes to tech lol

@realDonaldTrump 40% of foreign aid already goes through DoD or State. It is reasonable that other departments take over the rest as well, as USAID has lost public trust.

@MyViciousTwin @markgurman Listen I’m a huge believer in the AVP. I just can’t afford one. And if they can’t get the price down, then it’s basically something like a Ferrari. Your average consumer wants one, and will never get it.
