@BourbEnthusiasm Price + trust + availability = Willett Trust being one of the best whiskies I’ve ever had was a 12 year 71% ABV WFE, and then paid $75 for a pour of a similar age statement/bottle yield at the distillery and it is was worse than average.

@hammond I’m telling you Jeff, it’s next level. They say the water is the reason that NY bagels and pizza is so good. Wouldn’t it make sense that the water could improve the quality of whiskey as well? I say yes.
