@Dr_BellaR About £1200 all in £940 rent £50 WiFi £200 food ish (Australia) Rent a 2 bed Water/ council already in rent. Each household in Qld gets a $1000 to electricity each year, so I haven’t paid any electric bills for 6 months at least. Will be max £100 in summer Can’t complain.

@auspost how can I fix this? Send parcels to locker… Get email saying too small for locker, will deliver it to mailbox. Get email saying it’s too large for the mailbox, we will send to the post office. Keeps happening. Could have just gone to the locker in the first place?

@juliaisobela I mean they are all great in different ways but peri uni the 2nd two will be much cheaper and both well trodden & good for solo travellers. I would do Central & South America as two separate trips though. Way too much to see.

@gretchemaben - GOOD sleeping bag (!) - hydration bladder - Nalgene - fill with hot water at night then drink mane - high energy gels for loss of appetite - Acetazolamide - hiking poles - buff/face mask for moisture/warmth - a bit of whisky for at the top - 1 change of clothes is enough

@brookswackerman Pimple patches are mostly just expensive hydrocolloid. Buy a medical grade hydrocolloid dressing (such as Comfeel Plus Transparent Dressing) from a pharmacy & cut it in to little squares. Same but much cheaper per use. Also invisible for white skin. The crowd will never know.
