It has been an absolute pleasure being part of our local community and providing our families with a safe and nurturing environment for learning. We are sad to leave but are signing off for now! Thank you to all! 🥰 Keep your eyes peeled as an archive will be posted once ready!

The Easter Bunny came to visit us today. The children did a marvellous job of finding some lost eggs. Thanks to Skylight Office Supplies and FOG who supplied enough eggs so that each child could receive their own Easter Egg for the last time at Gallions Mount.

We are so proud of both teams but exceptionally proud of our girls who did not let their nerves get the better of them and shone like the stars they are. They continue to make an improvement in training every week and can't wait to take on some more teams in the summer term.

Last week our girls football team played a five a side football match against Bannockburn. This was the first game for both sides so the room was filled with nerves! But that didn't stop our girls from putting on a brilliant performance going on to win the game 22 - 2.

Some of our staff, children and friends of Gallions are currently outside the Town Hall, petitioning for the school to remain open and to have their voices heard. Today the council will make a decision on our closure.

Frank class took part in a live online STEM event with other UK primary schools. This included a rare opportunity for a Q&A with Branelle Rodrigues (The NASA Artemis 2 Vehicle manager) who talked about the NASA Orion – return to the moon – programme.

Last week, some of the boys football team played a 5 a side match against @se18conway at @theplumsteadce1 . Both sides showed fantastic skill and determination. Despite Conway dominating the first half, Gallions boys went on to win the game.

Frank class visited the @britishmuseum & took part in an interactive workshop looking at Athenian identity. They recreated a historic debate & voted for their preferred Athenian decision. Afterwards the children visited a number of the galleries to view objects from the period.

Thank you to the families that came to watch the KS1 and KS2 Christmas Performances yesterday. We hope you all enjoyed the festivities. Thank you to Father Andrew for allowing us to use St Nicholas Church for our carol concert. The children sounded beautiful!
