Following the High Court ruling that KK is not the majority party in National Assembly, Moses Wetangula has two slim chances of survival. Option1: Merge his Ford Kenya with UDA and become inconsequential just like any other member. Nonetheless, the courts will still not recognize post election agreements among parties. Option 2: Resist to join UDA and cling to his Ford Kenya Party and lose his speaker’s position since he can’t be party leader and speaker at the same time. Either options leaves him with a humongous and unfathomable dilemma. There is no escape route for Dominico's son. Politics of deceit is coming to an abrupt and unimaginable end. True political powers are backed up by unchallengeable position at the negatiotion table.

President William Ruto campaigned on a hustler agenda. This was euphoric for Mama Mboga, boda boda, Makanga na mtu wa chini, who solidly supported him. This group had no PhDs or exemplary academic history, but they overwhelmingly believed and voted him. It is, therefore, a mockery of the highest order for the President to say he can't be advised with people who have no PhD. In reality, only 0.01% or less of Kenyan hold PhDs. It is also ridiculous to say you can’t be advised by people who have no PhDs because a PhD doesn’t make you a jack of all things. Secondly, the President should know that the majority of Kenyans eat ndegu (green grams) as their main meal. Disparaging this group of citizens just because a leader questioned the controversial vaccination of livestock is demeaning and contemptuous. Prof Kindiki should inform the president that in his backyard, that is the mainstay of families. Many Kenyans are losing hope each day due to dwindling income and their growing inability to foot their bills. It suffices to say that we should address them with the respect and decency they deserve. It can not be that when we want votes, everyone matters, but when elected, we start stratification and classification of people on education, livelihoods, and income. It is so sad.

We welcome President William Ruto’s order of scrapping off the scrutiny and vetting process for ID acquisition for those living at the border counties. However, we need to be cautious in effecting the same. In the porous border areas, where bandits, terrorist and abductors have been taking advantage of and attacking the innocent locals to advance their retrogressive agenda, this should not be the case. A day before President William Ruto visited North Eastern, 5 chiefs were abducted, and up to now, they've not been recovered. In the wake of such realities, it is possible to give advantage to the criminals who will register as citizens if vetting is not properly conducted. Vetting in the identification process is a way of controlling illegalities and criminal activities. Whereas we are not opposed to the registration and identification of citizens, vetting is a pertinent element of the process to legitimize the process. What is the need for IDs if everyone can easily access them? We advocate for the reduction of the duration taken to get feedback in the application of IDs, but scrutiny must be embraced for the trans border communities. Mr. President, there are reasons as to why your predecessors were keen on such issues of citizen identification and all of them can't be wrong. The good intention of issuing the identity cards may be fashionable at the moment but with far-reaching implications for the future of the country. Nonetheless, we can increase man power to fast-track seamless identification processes without necessarily scrapping the existing policies.

@gpdkaluma Focus on uniting ODM first, you want to remove logs on other people's eye but blind on your own specs!

Riggy G was offered 2B to resign voluntarily and enjoy states benefits, including the ability to vie in the future and security. However, he stood his grounds and declined the offer until he was impeached because of being truthful. Notwithstanding other flaws anyway. Imagine if it was an offer brought to Wetangula and Musalia to auction mulembe vote bloc. Without blinking even a lower negotiation, they could have embraced and dissappear to thin airs.
