@DuchessOfMeme @MarkFusetti That's true of the hardcore thugs... But a hard working blue collar, or a shirt and tie who got caught up in winning fever? Krasner will give him 20 years.

@ECWFan360 @KeeleyFox29 @PhillyCrimeUpd @MarkFusetti They did a hell of a job on Frankford Ave, they had maybe a dozen arrests (at least that I can recall hearing), but they never let it get out of control.

And look, if I said anything insulting to you, it wasn't intentional. And I am going to throw my experience in here again but for a reason... Because I spent half of my life working in law enforcement it makes me a little... agitated when police (and firemen and medics) get backed into a corner. I love the city... Our city... I don't like it when the dirtbags win. I don't want to see the city burn. Yes I get that we have an impossible uphill battle, but we shouldn't give up hope. That was the only point I was trying to make. So again sorry if thst was taken the wrong way and sorry for a lot of things said. I know we're on the same page here, and we shouldn't fight over stupid stuff. Honestly have a good night.

And like I said, I agree on much of that. But I personally don't think we should let it happen to make an example because ultimately it won't change anything. This city has been going down this path for 70 years, if they haven't woken up to the fact that "business as usual" isn't working by now, they never will. The little people, and the men and women that protect our city shouldn't suffer for a lesson we'll never learn. Thst is all I am trying to say.

@ECWFan360 @KeeleyFox29 @PhillyCrimeUpd @MarkFusetti No he won't, you and I both know he will go balls to the wall to procecute these fools because THEY don't meet the criteria of his "constituents"

You went from working in the ER to Law Enforcement? God bless you! I certainly wouldn't do it. And in any case the point you tried to make is "20 years in law enforcement is nothing compared to how most people work" All I was saying is you are trying to compare apples and oranges. Either way hope you have a good night.

It's something I am on the fence with. Right now we don't use image recognition as a "you're guilty" But Ai can identify a suspect and detectives will go out and investigate it and the determination is still made by humans. That I don't really have a problem with. If we ever get to the point that AI is the final word on whether a crime was committed or not without any human interaction... Then I have a problem. You are correct in that it's a slippery slope. VERY in fact. But as long as it remains a tool to help and not the deciding factor... I don't know, I am always going to be in the middle I think. It has it's place, until it gets too invasive.
