@PryorFrancis This is a very early map from before the barrow furthest on the right was ploughed out around 1830-40. No-one knows its exact location. I think a patch of turf dug by rabbits is poss but it falls outside the earthwork that holds the other 2. What do you think?

From medieval times, locals in #Royston & the villages made merry on Plough Monday (following Twelfth Night). In many places a plough was brought into church the following Sunday and blessed before ploughing could start in earnest. #BitesizeRoyston @RoystonMuseum @BALHNews
