#camoflageuniforms #bhedchaal #ridiculousfashions Camouflage uniforms in army were brought in decades ago because in war it is advantageous to not be spotted by the opponent easily. Wanting to appear military symbolising "efficient" all and sundry wearing camouflage pattern.

The White House waved with Caesarean élan, and forgot an elementary lesson: an adversary is vanquished not when it is defeated, but when it accepts defeat

Doesn't make sense for the Indian High Commission to hold an Iftar party in Islamabad. The expected harassment by Pak Int agencies should have been anticipated. The Indian envoy wearing what is a typical Pak attire was to me incongruous. Who are we trying to appease?

@Kartiksingh007 @manaman_chhina You'll thank God that they fought like this. Bayonet fighting is the ultimate option exercised in only close quarter battle. For a defender its the last resort. For an attacker, its the last yard aginst a defender who doesn't retreat.

The intent is more important than the kinetic effect. It's like firing a warning shot across the bow of a ship.

Clearly very little if anything is confirmed now-BUT if Indian aircraft did indeed manage to fly over AJK and stage strikes inside KPK, then that's a significantly more muscular and audacious operation than a mere surgical strike redux.

Chandrayan 2, just saw on BBC our colonial ex masters asking why India which lacks toilets spends $145 million on a moon mission & what will it gain, besides a host of things it gains the self respect that the colonial rule stole. The BBC question makes me feel sumtin's burning!

Incorrect to measure every such episode in terms of "we beat more Chinese or vice versa". Laudable that the agreements on maintaining peace are holding and no firing on the LAC respected by both sides. Incidents like Galwan are one off events were local commanders trying

Election time. When promises of creating jobs appear impossible promises of doles of Rs 6000 pm are made. Shouldn't our leaders promise annual reduction of birthrates to balance jobs and infrastructure with population. A sure fire way to match unemployed to jobs. Alas!

If liquor or any other shops are kept closed for a long time and then opened, long queues where social distancing norms may be infringed is inevitable. If they are kept uninterrupted open such long queues as we saw on tv will die off.
