Senator Graham. I had tremendous respect for you because of your independence and association with John McCain. In the past year, I became disenchanted with the Republican party because they are no longer the party you and I signed up for. The party is something else, something alien, and bad for the average hard working and loyal American. Donald Trump has become a stain on our storied history. You said, "If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed ... and we will deserve it..". Sir, I know you hear this almost daily. I know what is happening in America is eating you up. I can tell by the stress in your eyes when on the TV news shows. Your alignment with Trump goes against everything you stood for. I also see the minute you sway from Trump, they threaten to primary you. When our democracy is destroyed by Trump, history will remember you and how you lined up behind Trump even though you knew he would destroy us. Or history can remember you as the independent maverick that you are. Take stand for what's right. Don't vote for Trump's unqualified cabinet nominations. Join Chris Murphy in his efforts. Let them call you names, let them primary you. Remember when Joe Lieberman lost his primary and went on to be reelected anyway. As you know, Trump is a trojan horse for some very bad people from the Council of National Policy. The want to destroy democracy as you eluded to. I urge you to put an end to this impending catastrophe. By the midterms Trump could be gone, relieved of duty by the congress. When the dust settles, you will be heralded as a savior of democracy.
