We are excited to announce our new head coach for the women's basketball team, Coach Chasity Melvin! Coach Melvin comes to Green Hope with experience as a collegiate athlete at NC State, 12 years playing in the WNBA, and several years of coaching experience. Welcome Coach Melvin!

On May 20th, 2020 the Green Hope Athletic Department will honor the class of 2020 and pay tribute to those seniors who missed out on their final season of high school athletics by having a ceremony to set apart the number 20 jersey for all teams at Green Hope in the future.

Recap of the week: .Soccer 2-0. Football won & now tied atop the Tri-8. Men's XC won the Mideast Regional. Women's XC made states. Women's Golf 5th in state. Volleyball 3-0 to move to state semi-finals. Women's tennis 3-0 including their 3rd straight state title. Not a bad week!.

Some incredibly sad news to report today. Kevin Todd, longtime soccer coach at Apex High School, died suddenly today. He was a teacher and a two-time state champion coach at the school. #HSOT.
