We are delighted to have been given the @_INSP collection. The Street Papers which include @BigIssue cover homelessness and a range of social issues spanning the globe over the last 30 years. It will be a fantastic resource for our students, researchers and the public.

All the way from Texas @noirgal17 & friends came to conduct their own detective work with Blythe Duff's Taggart scripts. It was a joy to welcome you & help solve the mystery of the closed captions - turns out it was "Rome burns" not "Rowan buns"! @weeblythy

'Shopping at the Co-op' (1985) is an eye-catching picture book aimed at children. It uses the example of familiar Co-op shops and societies to simply explain the workings of co-operative #SocialEnterprises. From our Thomas Carberry Collection. #CoopFortnight

‘Come clean’, know who the ‘Grime Squad’ were? The John Pearce papers hold examples of many early #SocialEnterprise initiatives, like Clydeclean co-operative of the 1980s. #CoopFortnight For more on Scottish social enterprise:

Why not raise awareness on #WorldEnvironmentDay with a rousing rendition of 'garbage' from @RagingGrannies songbook. #ProtestSongs are a powerful way to educate and inspire action. See our Political Song Collection for more examples:

“Wow” was our reaction as we opened up Margaret Bishop’s boxes to discover these beautiful embroidery samples. Margaret made the work during her studies at GCU predecessor institution the Glasgow & West of Scotland College of #DomesticScience in the 1940s.

Scottish Union of Students (predecessor to @NUSScotland) was founded to promote the common interests of its student members. This week we are carrying out some preservation work on the Union's records from the 1950s by removing rusty staples that are showing their age.
