I already had a lot of respect for Brian Flores before today. Today confirmed he’s one of the best leaders I’ve ever been around.
*Your opinion doesn’t matter

I’ve spent all day to find the words of appreciation that I have for Brian Flores. I can’t thank the man enough. I can’t thank him enough for the opportunity to be apart of his staff. I’m so grateful for his trust to give me the responsibility to coach the secondary…
This is the life of a Defensive Back. Everyone sees your losses and will speak on them. Don’t ever fear failure...cuz what “they” say doesn’t matter. Compete and always play to win. Don’t play not to lose. Rough nights happen. It’s football! Win or lose. Get back in the lab!
Chris Petersen used to say nothing great in life has ever been done without great passion & energy. I’ve loved football for as long as I’ve been alive. This is just a snippet of what happens in

Coaches text/call your players. Tell them you love them. Parents hug and tell your kids. Tell them you love them. Excuse my language but this shit sucks!!!! Pray for his family!
#RIPBT29
Thank you to all you
#FinsUp
fans for your support through a rollercoaster season. Proud to be apart of this organization & proud of the commitment and fight our players showed throughout the year
Great way to finish!
Exactly why kids are scared to compete at summer camps today. Scared to lose a rep bc someone got a phone out recording. The faster y’all DBs realize you will get beat or get a ball caught on you the better you’ll be.
2 kind of DBs. One that plays with patience and one that plays with panic. I’m not interested what rivals and 247 says you are. Your tape will give me the answer. Best of luck to all y’all as your HS seasons kickoff. I’ll be watching to see what kinda DB you are.
Can’t thank Coach Pete enough for what he’s done for me since getting into this coaching profession!!! Salute to the man who affected so many lives in a positive way!
Nipsey Hussle’s death is another unfortunate example and confirmation that there’s people in the world who don’t care about the good you do for your family, community and people in general. Same sad story...
2015 & 2016 I flew to Mobile, AL for the Senior Bowl to let former coaches & other NFL coaches I was trying to get into coaching and looking for an opportunity to get into the profession. 2021 I’ll be flying to Mobile to coach the Senior Bowl. BACK TO THE LAB! On the road!
“Professional Patience” (1/2)
“I’ll never ask you to be patient. I will say work your ass of while you wait.” A quote from one of the best leaders in sports. The vision you have for your life might not match what your current circumstances are…
What I saw on TNT 2nite has been beautiful. Men, on national TV, hurting, vulnerable, displaying pain for the world to see. For young men, boys, everyone to see. It’s ok... it’s ok to cry, hurt, show emotion. I don’t have enough prayers to send to Kobe’s family but I’ll try.
2021
A year a growth. A year of adversity. A year of learning from L after L after L after…etc. A year of joy. A year of virus. A year of protocol. A year of back to normalcy. What a year! I hope 2022 gives you everything you desire and work hard for!!
Respect the experience that I had with him as a position coach on his staff the last 2 seasons and the courage he’s displayed with the news of today and what that can mean for his own career in the coaching profession.
Decompressing from a disappointing ending words can’t express how much I appreciate the opportunity to be apart of this 2020 Miami Dolphins season. Thank you to all those who supported and the players who committed themselves to the process that led to our results!
Irresponsible to dump a bunch of information on players and expect them to “get it” (even professionals). Do the necessary work to simplify the complexity of the game/scheme for deep understanding. Clear, concise, repetitive information!
Last week before Mini-Camp!

…I’m very grateful for the opportunity that I got a chance to witness Coach Flo lead an organization as one of the few Black Head Coaches in all levels of football. Representation matters to me. For me to see what I saw everyday from him in his role daily was inspiring..
Ppl get anointed as genius and “football masterminds” but at the end of the the day it comes down to players making plays. Miss me with the genius talk.
May the Lord be with the family during this time. Heal the hearts of the Turner family while dealing with the devastating lost of a son, brother, cousin, nephew and a great kid in Bryce Turner.
… it gave me a clear visual of what I would want to see through my own lens one day. I can’t thank the man enough for challenging me and helping me grow to become a better teacher, coach and professional. It was truly an honor to work under Flo’s leadership!
I say it all the time.
Good player + Bad grades = Hood Legend
“Remember such & such...”
“They used to be ballin...”
“They coulda went to the league...”
Take care of the classroom ladies and gentlemen. From the minute you step on the HS campus.
My prayers and thoughts go out to Washington State campus, football program, the Community of Pullman, and the Hilinski family. Very very sadden by the news of Tyler.
Context is important so I’ll give it just bc some of y’all don’t understand…
“Grades from tape” I keep seeing this in reference to a PFF tweet which is a “useful tool”
If I don’t know exactly what a player has been instructed to do with the level of detail that is being…
Representation matters! Regardless of your opinion, this is an inspiration to all aspiring black leaders in the coaching profession. Congrats to Marcus Freeman on becoming the head coach at this prestigious institution.
