Many of us in media present something based on opportunities present at a given time and to assume a like or an RT is who we are is to assume wrong. Think deeper about it...
Too many people in the public do not understand that most of us working in media industries of any capacity are in marketing mode at all times. They think they know us, who we are & what we believe but have no clue. Planned perceptions can becomes their realities.

@RobertLeightyJr It gave me a lot of perspective into rural life, which I gained a lot of during my years in PA, but Lehigh Valley and PGH Metro are far from rural... To think seeing Pittsburgh's skyline coming out Squirrel Hill Tunnel could be a life making event..Caused by a HS football game..

@RobertLeightyJr For many residents of North Jersey, if they have to travel more than 10 minutes from their home, its as if their lives are ruined... Meanwhile in rural areas of Western Pennsylvania and down the hollers of WV, people drive an hour just to go to the grocery store... Perspective.

We need to normalize this recognition of officials. Do they make mistakes? Sure. Do we all jump on them? Absolutely. Is there a line? 100%. They are under more pressure than any coach or player. All eyes always on them. All voices directed at them, never positively.
Parents, players, fans, AND coaches, The next time you want to rip apart an official, remember… They’re people too!
