Showmen are a travelling community we are a distinct community, separate from Gypsy, Roma and Travellers. Showmen are not an ethnic group but we are recognised for our tangible cultural heritage. We have a unique way of life that is intrinsically linked to our industry.

@FenlandCouncil This historic fair and its royal charter are bound by tradition and steeped in history. The fun fair is part of the fabric of the town as are the Showmen families who attend. Wonderful to see the fair returning and fantastic that the local community are still passionate about it
