Sad to hear this: A local coach was looking to make up some JV games so the kids could play some games. He was told by the AD that he could no longer reschedule any jv games or pick up a game. This is not fair to the kids that like to play baseball.

ACME BASEBALL: State Championship tomorrow at Coldwater. Bryan vs. Archbold. There is no travel ball team in the country that emulates a spring high school tournament like ACME. It saddens me when a HS player will choose Travel (PAY) over ACME.

Baseball and Softball are playing because it doesn't fall under OHSAA rules. As soon as one person on the team tests positive, then the sport will be shut down. Spring sports would be in jeopardy of losing 2 seasons in high school . This in no way is the RIGHT thing to dol
I just got word that a few of the prominent high school football coaches in Ohio have submitted proposals to the OHSAA with the intent to flip spring and fall sports.
The main point is that it’s much more realistic to expect a full football season in the spring than in the fall.

I have witnessed Coach Woodley for the past 10 years and have learned a ton from him. If you want to play small college baseball and play for a guy that will work his tail off for you, this is the place.

I will miss all our talks together Lou! 30 years of ACME meetings together will always be cherished. Competing against your Coldwater teams in the early 90's taught me a ton as a young coach. Having the chance to coach your grandsons Bradyn and Cody has been a coaching dream.
The ACME Board of Directors is saddened to announce the death of Lou Brunswick, one of the pioneers of the ACME Baseball Congress, which he co-founded in 1960.⚾️❤️🩹
