Christians are to grow, fight the good fight, overcome, and endure to the end. Christians shouldn't be arguing with other Christians about why we don't have to do anything, because Christ "did it all for us".

If you read the story of ancient Israel, they were complainers. Always blaming God and their leaders for their troubles. But most of our troubles are because of what we do. We are either under a blessing, or a curse, because of our own actions. (See Deuteronomy 28)

@OnaiGreen God promises to protect the Philadelphian era of the church from the Great Tribulation (see Revelation 3:10). But that protection will happen on earth, not heaven. It will also happen during the final 3 1/2 years before Christ returns. (see Rev 12:14-17).

Daniel Chapter 9 tells the exact year that Christ would start His ministry. The book of Daniel was written hundreds of years earlier. Yet the 70 weeks prophecy not only tells us the exact year, but it also says that He would be killed 3 1/2 years later.
