This guy really just saw the word "camera" and made up that Activision is secretly using your webcam or something. Yes, NvCamera64.dll is Nvidia Ansel. It's an in-game camera that lets you take photographs and has nothing to do with your webcam. It is included with the Nvidia display driver, and is bundled with Freestyle which let's you apply filters to your game. It will be loaded into any compatible/supported game, and this is not "malicious in nature" or "suspicious" like this guy says in his video. Disabling Photo mode (Ansel) in the Nvidia App/GeForce Experience, or just disabling Ansel by itself, will stop the .dll from loading.

@lagpolice @THA_GREAT_TMOS @ModernWarzone The fact that he's lagging doesn't make you think this might just be lag?

@Martyplays7 @Dale_Teale @dramathedonski @LoochyTV @CallofDuty @Activision It's very much just a theory.

@1eepay @cod_4k @CarlosBitMe @HacksGrandpa Agreed. It's interesting to get a spectate video like this on Biffle but I gotta say it didn't look very suspicious.

@Dirtyjoesnews @CODUpdates They're not accessing your webcam

@subonekd Yes, while also publicly disclosed in patents that apparently in detail describe how it works and what to test for.

@CT3LA Yes. The stim one exists bull will very often not show, and they actually said they will add a visual cue for War Cry as well which is good.

Interesting findings! This is bound to make enforcements feel arbitrary or wrong, and that seems to be what a lot of people are reporting. I wonder if this could be related to why Steam WZ performance tanks if you have lobby voice chat enabled (a bug that has been there since day 1!). If it affects game/server performance even the slightest then it's even more ridiculous.

@SpartakusLIVE Seems you can do this in most elevator shafts, good to know if you need to make a quick getaway😂 Looks like you came across a weird way of surviving falls by flying/falling into some corners lol. It's inconsistent though so it's probably not very useful.

@misspennygadget That's good, but a lot of people don't. I agree that it can feel that way, but I still want to know if I lost because of a bug or some other mishap, or if the game actually intentionally made me lose, because one of those two is much worse than the other.

@LocalMalder @cod_4k That's fair. I just meant that this appears to be a rare bug that happens under specific circumstances. It doesn't mean that everyone is running around with broken hitboxes – but it still isn't acceptable for a competitive game.

@needlessrelic16 Idk tbh. I was thinking it was probably only WZ as something like this might be more noticeable in MP – and I've never seen it. But that might not even be true, and this is probably very rare and also easy to miss so it could be in MP too.

No one is questioning how easy it would be. I understand that it would be an incredibly basic thing to track or measure a stat/value, and then adjust a parameter accordingly. We all understand that it would be possible. We also all understand that the easier or more basic the implementation, the easier it would be for us to notice it. A game developer, not affiliated with Cod, explaining how easily a damage modifier could be implemented means nothing. I don't even understand why you're posting it. It's an interesting and informative video, sure, but it's not related to CoD.

@TheXclusiveAce @lagpolice @GrabbaBeer @ZFFSkullcrusher @Niqqatown @ModernWarzone I keep trying to remind myself but it's difficult😅

@lagpolice @GrabbaBeer @ZFFSkullcrusher @Niqqatown @ModernWarzone @TheXclusiveAce I see what's happening. I don't see how it's proof of DDA and can't be that the hitbox is misaligned or out of sync with the animation, or something else, though. If you think that looks rigged then look at how crazy rigged this guys' hitbox was.
@TheDropshotPod There's a bug with the upload stations where someone using it will be shown in the wrong place. You have to shoot where he would actually be standing. I thought this was fixed recently but I guess it wasn't.

@GrabbaBeer @ZFFSkullcrusher @Niqqatown @lagpolice @ModernWarzone @TheXclusiveAce It seems more likely that the hitbox and player model are not properly aligned because of the enemy proning and playing the animation of using a computer/killstreak, than this being a rigged gunfight. Could also be related to lag or a bug. I don't see how this is proof.
