Being incarcerated is expensive. The state locks people in cages and then makes them pay for it as well. Commissary is a form of mutual aid, please donate to our fund so folks detained at Caroline can have what they need till we #FreeThemAll:

We need your support in May to demand that Arlington Co remove section 7 from the Trust policy, accept different forms of ID + get #ICEoutofArlington ! This fight is tied to closing Farmville Detention shutting down the ways that community members are funneled into detention!

Arlington County Board promises they will "be in touch" about removing section 7 from the Trust Policy. We know that Arlington is complicit in funneling people into detention and has the power to reduce and end collaboration with ICE locally!

Another community member demands to remove section 7 from the Trust policy which allows local collaboration between police and ICE AND accept different ids locally. We know that police call ICE when they see different IDs and that this is how people are incarcerated.

All of the prince edward county board members voted yes on the contract with Abyon LLC to continue running the detention center. This part of the agenda was added after they kicked everyone out of the room to have a closed meeting in secrecy.
