Abbott is WAY better as governor than any Democrat in that position would be. As long as the Republicans can continue steering him and making him do what he should be doing, I'm okay with that. If a Democrat was in that position, the GOP wouldn't be able control him/her.

The property value isn't determined by the owner. It's determined by gov't tax assessor. The issue is not the value of a property at 'tax time', it's about the value on a bank loan. The bank had no issue with it. The loan was paid in-full with interest. Where's the crime?

What we're talking about didn't happen a day or two ago, it happened in Nov. 2022. I think a year & 5 months is more than enough time for any 3 letter agency to do what they need to do. As a Systems Analyst myself, I'm pretty confident in what I'm talking about. 🤫

It'll be interesting if the Supreme Court refers it to the lower appeals court before they agree to take it. But, if SCOTUS agrees to take it, I think the Trump-majority Supreme Court will rule in Trump's favor.
