School starts soon, and that means fall sports tryouts are right around the corner! You must have an athletic physical complete along with concussion training. Fall sports start tryouts on Tuesday August 27th!
Parents! Help out your child’s swarm by purchasing a swarm shirt! You can earn points for your family’s swarm by purchasing, wearing or tweeting a picture with you wearing the shirt (using the

The school year is quickly approaching. Tryouts for fall sports (football, boys soccer, girls track, volleyball) start on Tuesday after school. Students must have concussion training and an athletic physical completed by a doctor to try out.
We had three incredible students participate in the All-Virginia Middle School Honor Choir events this weekend! It was an unforgettable weekend of learning and music making.

There’s lots to pick up in the front office to make your year great! Supply lists, athletic physical forms, and concussion training info. If you have Kaiser, get your physicals done NOW because they take 2 weeks to do paperwork.
Reminder: 7th and 8th grade students can pick up their belongings tomorrow starting at 11:15. Have your locker number ready. 8th graders will also pick up their promotion materials.

students got to use chemistry during a mysterious activity, where they sleuthed to find the thief responsible for a missing necklace.
A powder was left behind, and students had to use chemical reactions to find the culprit.
Students trying out for fall sports need to get a wristband from Ms. Rowe during lunch shifts tomorrow. No student will be allowed to try out without an athletic physical and concussion training on file.
Just a reminder to families that food pick up continues this week and times are extended from 9-11 am. Breakfast and lunch are offered for children under the age of 18.
