@Miller18289 Sure, but he also showed special chase contact % 65.6% (avg is 55.8) and zone contact % of 88.2% whereas avg is 82.2% As a rookie, who saw pitches, made contact, and drew walks playing multiple positions, I’ll bet on a lot of growth this year.

@Miller18289 His approach? Of players with at least 150 PA on CLE (there were 15), he was 6th in BB%. He saw 4.01 P/PA, whereas league average is 3.87 P/PA. His approach is fantastic.

But, if it were up to me, I’d keep him as versatile as possible. If they have no plans to keep Lane after this season (I’d tack on a year or two this spring), I’d really like Angel to get the CF job until Jaison Chourio is ready. But I do think they really like Angel Martinez.
