Explain the three body problem then? Don’t those odds seem well, odd, given that we don’t know how to accurately and repeatedly determine the gravitational impact of each body in space. Now multiply that by 100x or 1000x and your simple three body problem becomes a thousand body problem. These are rocks floating around in space that we essentially can’t track. NEO’s coming in the vicinity of Earth have limited ability to be successfully tracked. On NASA JPL NEO observation data, a significant portion of the observed NEO’s are discovered AFTER they pass by earth.
