Trump en Tariffs. Doordat hij zoveel onzekerheid creëert met het dreigen van invoertarieven zullen bedrijven wachten met investeren in de toekomst tot er duidelijkheid is. Dit lijkt mij niet optimaal...

@HPluckrose I think it's mainly 'wokies' who view/portait 'anti-woke' as a unified movement. And the main reason is to lump in dissenting liberals/leftists with conservatives/right-wingers.

@Denkjewel @eddy_terstall Woke is ook weer duidelijke reactie op seksisme en racisme, wat al eeuwen bestaat. Of het terecht is dat die reactie in het westen plaatsvindt, waar de samenleving ongeveer het meest tolerant is, is een tweede.

@zeg_eens_aad Een van de soort kritieken, waar ik het minst van begrijp. Met kritiek op ....., speel je rechts in de kaart. Oneerlijk en intellectueel onverdedigbaar. Woke is niet de grote vijand, wat rechts claimt, maar ook bij Woke gaat een hele hoop fout, wat je gewoon moet benoemen.

@SwipeWright Yes, Woke being taken care of is a very positive development. "Absolute flood of sanity" is a bit much. Certain elements of MAGA-ism are just as bad. Pardoning cop-beaters for example, is horrible.

Gisteren een fantastische film gezien, Judgment at Nuremberg''. Staat op Prime Een rechtbankdrama uit 1961 met hele goede acteerprestaties. Vond het vooral inhoudelijk zeer interessant. Hoe oordeel je over rechters die de wet volgen van het Nazi-regime?

@GuideinHolland @roelsint Trump is veroordeeld, dus is een crimineel? Daar kan je de media niet op aanspreken. Maar dat de traditionele media Trump negatiever behandelt dan Biden, lijkt mij te kloppen.

@roelsint Nee klopt, maar ik denk niet dat de mensen die ontkenden dat Biden de weg kwijt was, dom zijn. Het was meer een soort 'gaslighting' wat ze deden.

The old left-wing Twitter trolls used to twist what you said. The new right-wing ones don't understand what you said. So everyone who's used Twitter for sufficiently long is able to answer the question: what's worse, engaging with intellectually dishonest people or stupid ones?
