Our students have been attending the March for Life in Washington, D.C., by the busload since the early 1980s.
Since we couldn’t travel to D.C. today, Students for Life and Student Government lead a Life Chain this afternoon in Steubenville to witness to the sanctity of life.
Our president Fr. Dave Pivonka, TOR, is currently concelebrating Mass with Pope Francis at Franso Hariri Stadium in Erbil, Iraq.

From Father Dave: “Over 30 years ago, I first arrived at Franciscan as an undergrad and received an outstanding education as well as life-changing spiritual formation as part of a dynamic, Catholic intellectual and faith community…"

When St. Faustina was canonized on April 30th, 2000, Pope John Paul II also declared that the Universal Church celebrate the Feast of Divine Mercy. It is celebrated close to Easter because it is through Christ’s death and resurrection that we are able to receive this gift.
It’s the first day of class! What better way to begin the Spring semester than in this picturesque snow?!❄️ Join us in praying for a safe and successful spring semester!🎒📝
St. Maximilian Kolbe was a Franciscan friar and Polish martyr of charity in Auschwitz during WW2. He is also the patron saint of prisoners and the pro-life movement. Pray for us!
