@jamonholmgren And also, rerender is not as critical as remounting. React (and rn devs) don’t usually realize this: they think it’s all rerenders, but it’s not the same. Remounting is much more impactful in performance than rerenders (i.e any memoization is computed again on mount)

@rvcas @imfelquis My answer comes from experience. There’s a lot that apple does in native components that you can’t even realize and it’s really difficult to replicate. Accessibility, UX, screen reader, localization, scrolling, interactions that is extremely difficult to get right

@imfelquis @rvcas I couldn’t try KM, but I’ve been watching talks and know the people behind it. Pretty interesting, I did use kotlin and it was quite similar to Swift, nice languages

@rvcas @imfelquis RN is the “common” way for multiplatform, Kotlin Multiplatform will probably get some steam
