The largest statue of OL of Guadalupe in the world (60+ ft) is on a privately owned farm property in the middle of nowhere in NE Ohio. I stopped today after a sick call and talked to the owners who started it 28 yrs ago. Statue is covered in thousands of colored tiles, not paint.

Did you know Pope Leo XIII said Catholics should offer their rosary in compensation for the more lenient laws of the Church regarding days of abstinence from meat? How many take it for granted to live a more unmortified life? Should we not at least pray the daily rosary as asked?

To all the R&R who ad nauseam try to use St. Paul to justify resisting the one you claim is Pope: St. Robert Bellarmine condemns your misappropriation of this text. A Catholic cannot "resist" official papal docs. Bergoglio is not Pope; that's the ONLY way you can resist him.

One more Feeneyite heretic bites the dust. I deny them Holy Communion as well if they dare approach. They are public sinners. I have almost never met one who wasn't totally consumed with pride, thinking he knows more than the Church and all her Saints and Doctors.

Two weeks until the boys' camp in Ohio. Daily Mass, rosary, spiritual talks and fun activities. A good opportunity to get away from the world for wholesome activities with good Catholics. We have plenty of room at the campground. Message or email. Pray for spiritual success.

It seems that somehow word has gotten out faster than we ourselves could get it out. I regret to confirm/inform everyone that Bp. Dolan has passed away suddenly today, April 26, Mother of Good Counsel. Please pray for his soul and for all of us.

Never cease to pray no matter what. At least make a beginning of it. From the excellent "Treatise on Prayer" by Joseph Frassinetti recommended by Ballerini and published in English under the title "Saint Teresa's Pater Noster: A Treatise on Prayer" (1887).

After writing this respectful letter to an opponent and studying the arguments sent him St. Alphonsus abandoned a position he previously thought well-founded and thereafter wrote many times against his former opinion. Would that such willingness to understand opponents prevailed.

It was a joyous day today. Sung Masses for Pentecost in both churches, two rosary processions with the crowning of Mary and Pius XII's Act of Consecration of the Human Race to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Good night, Blessed Mother, Immaculate Queen!

Today is the first anniversary of the death of Bp. Daniel Dolan. I will always remember the kind email he sent me and enrollment of my mother in the Purgatorial Society of St. Gertrude shortly after her death. In turn I pray for his soul nearly every day at the Memento at Mass.

Imagine belonging to a religion that has to explain to everyone that its documents are not heretical and blasphemous.... and then having the gall to call that religion the True Church of Christ. R&R is dead.

@CarmeliteAnna No. It's a false prophecy from a notorious collection of other false prophecies published in French in the turmoil of the 1800's. The full "prophecy" claimed it would all happen during the reign of Pius IX but dishonest authors from decades ago left that part out.

This prayer for mothers and fathers to say for their wayward children was published by St John Bosco in one of his many books. It was not likely written by him personally as he often simply collected prayers from approved sources but it certainly comes with his recommendation.

@matthew_sede FYI, that phrase is from the *condemned* version of the "secret" which came out several decades after the approved apparition and was put on the Index of Forbidden Books under Pius X. Catholics were to be denied Communion if they promoted it and priests suspended.

💯% Some years ago I wrote an article about this in the Reign of Mary. The word "worship" means honor given where honor due, not divine adoration. I think I read Fr. Faber say Catholics have nothing to gain by caving to Protestant misuse of words in order not to offend them.

Saying "Catholics do not worship Mary" as a shorthand for the lengthy explanation of the various ways Catholics define worship and do not worship Mary as we do God will inevitably become more trouble than it's worth when they decide to read Catholic books on Marian devotions.

Mandatory reading for those who continually fight their Novus Ordo religion/leaders yet insist it is the Church Christ founded as their sure guide to heaven. They mimic exactly Dr. Pusey's false argument for remaining in the Anglican religion which Fr. Faber refutes here.

I like to share this quote from Pius XI every Thanksgiving. Pius XII also praised the American custom of a day of PRAYER and thanksgiving and expressed the hope (in 1949) that other countries would adopt it. Let's not forget the prayer part.

St. Francis and St. Robert were both great saints and Doctors of the Church yet disagreed on the wisdom of stirring up a particular controversy. Nonetheless they were great friends. Would that those who stir up controversy today could at least preserve similar charity for others.

R&R teaching has nothing in common with theologians who taught that a Pope heretical in his *personal* beliefs would remain Pope. Quote me one theologian who taught (as R&R do) that such a Pope could spread his errors in official teachings to the whole Church! Said no one ever!

@FlatTrads @Anarchievsky Actually, not a single theologian taught your resistance heresy. But lots of heretics did. Some theologians taught that a Pope who was *personally* a heretic would retain the papacy, but they never taught, as you do, that such Pope could spread his errors to the Church! Not one!

@NovusOrdoWatch Incredible. There is absolutely nothing but error in Bergoglio's false church. Anyone who thinks staying in it and "fighting" is going to save their Faith from utter disaster has no idea what it even means to be Catholic. #sedevacante

Merry Christmas! May the Christ Child grant the faithful the grace to grow in charity & sanctity and thus overcome the evil in the world. From the Christmas Eve poem by Pope Leo XIII, 1901. ("Poems, Charades, Inscriptions of Pope Leo XIII," translated by H.T. Henry, 1902)

@_julia_meloni There is no such thing as "liberal Catholicism" vs "traditional Catholicism." The true Church cannot be divided. There is the Vatican 2 religion vs Catholic Faith, Novus Ordo false religion vs Catholics, modernists vs Catholics. The V2 false religion never was alive. #sedevacante

The recent mumbo-jumbo coming out of the mouth of Bergoglio & fellow heretics has often brought to mind this anecdote about Will Rogers and Pius XI's encyclical on marriage. What a contrast with the senseless drivel of the current false pope!

What happens when your religion and "Pope" aren't Catholic. The only solution in keeping with Christ's promise is to admit Bergoglio is a false pope & the V2 so-called church is just another false church added to all the rest the devil has founded over the centuries. #sedevacante

I'm reading Fr. Umberto Betti's diary of V2 (Diario del Concilio). Oct 29, 1964 he mentions a Latin comic passed out by 2 bishops: “Cardinal Ruffini... is presented as willing to have his head cut off and make it available to them [modernists] so that they finally have a brain."
