Your input is important in shaping the future of our parish. Join us for the next Wellspring Meeting on Tuesday, 11th February at 7:30pm in the Parish Centre. Over the past few months, the core group has been working on the ideas and discussions shared at previous meetings, drawing out key themes and developing action plans. This meeting is an opportunity to hear updates, share your thoughts, and help shape the next steps. We would love to see as many people as possible there—your input is vital! Whether you've been involved before or are coming along for the first time, you are very welcome.

The Holy Year 2025 theme, Pilgrims of Hope, will be marked with a walking pilgrimage from Motherwell Cathedral to St Andrews, covering approximately 110 miles in 10 stages. Starting on Thursday, 3rd April 2025, each stage will involve walking 10–12 miles every Thursday. The pilgrimage will be guided, with a chaplain expected to join for most stages. There is no charge for participation, apart from transport back to the starting point each day. Minibus transport will be arranged for stages without public transport links. The route follows the Ladywell Way from Motherwell to North Queensferry, then continues along the Fife Pilgrim Way to St Andrews. The first stage is an 11-mile walk from Motherwell Cathedral to Caldercruix, passing Carfin’s National Marian Shrine and crossing moorland to Caldercruix. Further information is available by emailing j.mckelvie@holyyear2025.org.uk or calling/texting Jim McKelvie on 07957 847290. Good weather cannot be guaranteed!
