@RepLuna Except for Veterans with disability ratings, right? The CBO is planning to implement "means testing" which reduces disability payments down to zero for VETS based on their income. This is disgusting. Every potential recruit needs to be made aware of this.

What's crazier than that is the CBO is implementing "means testing" effective January 2026 which takes away disability payments from Veterans based on their income. This cannot happen. It just can't. Vets laid it all on the line and now, including Congressman will have it revoked. Disgusting.

@JerryMoran - it is unconscionable to take back veterans benefits under any circumstance. If this goes through, the VA should prepare for class action. VA can pay illegals medical bills and take back pay from veterans sick from burn pits. This affects several representatives and Senators as well. This is anti American and sets terrible precedent. Why would anyone serve 20 years knowing the benefits can be taken at will by government.
Veterans deserve prompt, high-quality care and greater flexibility in choosing when, where and how to use the health care benefits they have earned through their service. The Veterans’ ACCESS Act will help make certain that VA delivers on those promises.

If @secvetaffairs means what he says, he will disavow the 2026 “means testing” of VA benefits. The deal made with lifelong soldiers shouldn’t be broken. Send an American to a burn pit and give them benefits. Spend VA money on illegals and recoup by taking benefits from disabled vets. BS
