Shout out to this
@EdmontonOilers
fan that made my daughters first game one of the best. Just wheels in after the second period and brings her a chain unprovoked. Unreal, anyone know this guy?
I don’t know if I can quite explain how proud I am as a dad when I look across at this sandwich artist and he belongs to me. It’s his first job and to watch him interact with the public and his coworkers is awesome. He has big goals and I have no doubts he will achieve them.
I’m looking for service rig hands. Work is all in SE Sask.
Competitive wages and benefit plan.
Experience is a bonus but willing to train.
Retweets appreciated!
Can you imagine the opportunity Canada would have right now if they were pro oil & gas. Ethically produced fossil fuels from cradle to grave in regards to environment and best in class technology. The least we should be looking at is becoming self sufficient as a start.

I’m looking for service rig hands ASAP. Tool Push, Driller, Derrickhand, and floorhands x 2. Need a licence preferably class 1 but not necessary and your first aid & h2s. Shoot me a message if interested.
Rt’s appreciated.
If you’re in your 40’s still have a couple grandparents, in-laws and a wife that want to sit around your kitchen table when you’re rained out from harvest you consider yourself grateful and lucky!
When it’s -41c this is the go to sweater. Thanks to all the energy workers for keeping warmth on demand and at our fingertips with the push of the thermostat button. Be safe and stay warm.

Hey
@BradWall306
@QuickDickMcDick
@CanadaAction
even our local power plant is getting in on the cold weather jokes to try and improve the mood around here. You’ll have to listen with the sound up. And yes it’s still making sure that nasty co2 is sequestered and reused.
Truck seized and thrown in jail for trying to sell his own grain, crazy when you think about it.
This is my grandpa, to say he stands up for what he believes in is an understatement. Grit, hardworking and hard nosed. He should write a book.

August 30, 2015. The day wasn’t any different than most, I was out lending a hand with harvest. When I was done for the night I was about to head home and got a message if I could come help my dad as he’d fallen. He’d been battling cancer hard and “the

Down in the states working this week and my highlight so far is they have bags for your groceries. Canada should give this a go, it’s a hell of a deal.
Love when this memory of grandpa pops up. Reminds me to stand up for what I believe in. He ended up winning in the end but he had to go through hell to get there.
I’m doing

Grandpa lives a town over. We’re hosting thanksgiving supper and I’m picking him up and dropping him off so he can have a few whiskeys (his fav) and not have the worry about driving. He loves chatting with

One of the many stories my grandpa has. Always has taught me to stand up for what is right now matter the odds. To say he practices what he preaches is an understatement but was glad to see him win in the end, even if he had to be jailed. He’s unreal and he’s an idol for sure.
I snuck over to grandpas house today with a gift for him and a few words I wrote about him. After I finished reading them to him he insisted that we have a drink out of his gift. It’s 9am but when a guy turns 90 he makes the rules I guess
My grandma turns 91 today. We picked her up and took her out for supper last night. My wife snapped this pic of us and it’s sure a good one that shows our relationship & bond.
I’m super lucky to have this lady in my life.

If any local mechanics or shops come across a truck that needs fixed because they put hydraulic oil in it instead of diesel fuel I’d like to have a chat with them.
One of our rigs south of Pierson, Mb had a visitor through the night and thought they were getting free fuel.
My oldest daughter is having friends over in our garage.
Our garage doubles as our gym.
Some of those friends are boys, so I’ll leave 300 on the bar to put some thoughts in their head….

I was “lucky” enough to be a 2nd generation oil and gas guy and my dad had explained the peaks and valleys that are associated with this business but this was still one of the scariest days ever.
All you young roughnecks make sure you’re saving your money,
Surprised my grandpa with digital copies of his old VHS tapes of his cows and his Prairie Farm Report appearance. Now he can watch anytime!
Low quality video but sitting here and reliving his stories and our memories together it is without a doubt, a high quality life ☺️
You can take the farmer off the farm, but you can’t take the farmer out of the farmer.
My father in law playing it cool and totally fitting in down in the Dominican with his modified Stanfields beach combo! 😂
I’m looking for and hiring an experienced Derrickhand for the service rigs. The rig is located in SE Sask, it has scheduled work and scheduled days off. Currently working 5/2 but will be moving to 10/4 after Sept Long Weekend.
Normally I don’t post wages but I will this time to

Last month I decided to try out sober October and not drink to see what/how it changed things.
For reference I was a guy that would drink on weekends and probably once through the week with work or social engagements. I’m a guy that is known to “put them back” if duty called. I

You can do all the oil & gas research you want to predict the boom, but until you actually see a lineup of 20 somethings at 5 am buying $45 gas station lunches I consider us still on hold.
The small town convenience stores will be the catalyst in my analysis. Stay tuned

Celebrated my Grandpas 90th birthday today.
Our little town hall in Carievale was packed with family and friends from across town and across the country. It was a special day for him followed by a good supper at my cousin’s steakhouse.
If I become half the man my grandpa
This is my grandma, I picked her up from the nursing home to go celebrate her son (my dad) anniversary of when he left this world.
She is one of the most positive, fun and strongest women I know.
Even at 89 years old all you really need is your PJ’s and a 6 pack
#lifelesson
It’s 7 am we’ve been on the road for an hour and I must’ve overstimulated and overloaded her with my local oilfield knowledge of who owns each of the wells we drive by.
What 17 year old girl wouldn’t want to know this valuable info?
Travelling with dad is fun!
Until we have a more sustainable energy source I’ll always have oil and gas in my vision…….😎
Proud to be a small spoke in the wheel that fuels this world.

It would not surprise me if it’s mayhem at the gas station tomorrow, $40 dollar lunches, neck tattoos, energy drinks, white shades, vape pens and obvious evidence of unused dental benefits. it’s all coming back.

Could you imagine being such a loser that you’d rather creep around at night and steal & vandalize equipment/facilities in the oilpatch, all while the industry is screaming for employees and would probably give you a job if you applied? Yes even you Mr. Scumbag!

I was smiling pretty big today when I saw this going on in the shop. Our mechanics who have a list a mile long of equipment to fix, work on and inspect are taking the time out of their busy day to ensure one girl gets her special bike built so she can soak in this warm weather!
Are you even a roughneck if you don’t order the biggest burger on the menu when the boss takes you for lunch?
This kid has worked hard for us the last couple years and turned himself into a deadly hand on the rig. Well deserved I’d say!

Spring time is so much better with all the senior hockey league and provincial titles being handed out. Huge thanks to
@MondayNooner
for exposing me/us to all the hockey that goes on across our province. I had no idea. This is social media done right!
Good picture of grandpa doing what he loves, 88 and still taking off crop.
That smile and the thumbs up tells me he wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
Wish we could bottle that passion and work ethic to pass on to future generations, they don’t make them like they used to.
We have Sunday suppers every week with my in-laws. We alternate between our two homes. When they come to our house they pick my grandma up at the nursing home and vice versa. She’s 89 and absolutely lives for them and for……🍻. We love her.
This is how I keep the boys at the rig talking to me.

is a hard pesky player but when it comes to the little ones his heart of gold shines through. Only fitting he made time for all of them last night.
Carnduff is lucky to have him.
Grandma from my dads side and Grandpa from my moms. Both took their turns raising me, so now I pay it back with weekly Sunday suppers at our house and it’s one of the favourite things. I thought tonight was a good picture night.

Our community lost its leader today. You don’t replace people like that, you can’t. You just think how thankful you are and how life has become better because of him. If you don’t think it has, take a walk around town.
Respect
I’d like to recognize first responders, especially those in the small communities. When the phone rings and they have to go, there is a 90% chance they know the person in need of help and a lot of times it isn’t pretty.
You guys are hero’s and will always have my respect.
Always good to see this beauty hanging in the rink. A great young man gone to soon who was loved by many.
@Puratt
would’ve had the world by the tail by now with his big smile and hard nosed work ethic.
Provincial champions is pretty cool but when you’re a pick up on the team and the friends you make along the way is where it’s at.
Thanks to the Moosomin Rangers for picking up our boy!

Dad is the reason I wear that hat
This will probably go down as one of my favourite pictures of my youngest daughter, helps her buddy is smiling as well.
When she’s all grown up I’ll always revert back to this picture in my mind when I tell her “she’ll always be my little girl”
3 years YTD since I had my “favourite haircut”with dad. He loved that I did this so he wasn’t alone He left us the following month Tough but important lesson learned hereTell people how much they mean to you while theyre here and enjoy time together making memories!

Gone but never forgotten, Dad would be a young 63 today.
Dad would be grinning just like in this picture if he was around and I was able to tell him what I’m up to these days.
Always missed, never forgotten and still doesn’t seem real if that makes any sense.
Giving your kids opportunities you never had as a kid has to be one of the most self rewarding things you can do as a parent.
This guy had a great taste of AA tryouts, didn’t get a spot, but is already digging in for next year so we will chalk it up as a W.
What’s going to be in more demand this year canola oil or crude oil? Let’s hope for both. It’s time for our resource sector to prosper
