Seriously Goose Red Rocks was an unreal experience. Teared up during Tumble and Arcadia while soaking in the magnitude of the show and size of the crowd. Couldn’t stop thinking about the first show at Domefest 2019 and the Aggie a month later with 20 people…
At Goose last night, (Dawn) spoke to me on such a mental and emotional level that I very much needed after an extremely rough week at school. “It’s alright, don’t sweat my friend.” “Don’t let the heavy one hold back the dawn in you.”
The Goose Red Rocks shows were awesome and iconic but the CSU show was a different kind of special for me. Seeing them on my old campus and a place I spent so much time at was so wholesome. AND Fish In The Sea>Tumble>Red Bird is such a Brad segment I was on cloud 9 😁
Powerful stuff today in Denver. Peaceful throughout, everyone wearing masks but more importantly we supported our fellow humans on the path to justice. What sucks is the inevitable destruction tonight will be remembered rather than what happened this afternoon

This is something that I’ve wanted to do forever. Anyone who knows me knows Survivor is one of my favorite shows and I’ve been watching it since I was a kid. It’s an accomplishment just to apply, and I’m proud of myself for finally doing it!
Yesterday’s Goose show was super special and I was so happy to be spending it with great people. From Turned Clouds on they didn’t let up. The Arcadia jam and ending had the place up for grabs. Arrow>Creatures was unreal and Peter drove that segway so well.
Words can’t describe how much I love King Gizzard and those 3 Red Rocks shows. All I can say is that I’ve never felt happier seeing music than these 3 nights thus they were probably the 3 best shows I’ve been to.
King Gizz tour opening show thoughts: 14 songs makes it seem like there were some jams. Only 8 albums played. No Fishies, no 12 Bar, no Willoughby’s, no LW, no FAFYL, no Oddments, no Poly, no MOTU, no BF3K, no Sketches, no Quarters
I got all 4 Goose songs I wanted this weekend and each versions slapped. Wysteria, Creatures, Drive and Madhuvan had me non-stop smiling and Factory Fiction was the holographic Charizard of songs. So cool to see that live.

If you’re spending that much on a Phish ticket, you can afford to spend 40-50 bucks to have your dog stay at a boarding facility for a night.
Made it back to Denver from Desert Daze and here are my favorite acts from the weekend:
1. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard
2. Fuzz
3. Babe Rainbow
4. Pond
5. Mildlife
Honorable mentions: Surprise Chef, Nosaj Thing, Badbadnotgood, L’eclair, and SLIFT
Pretty surreal to be finished with this semester of my Masters and start student teaching in a few weeks! When I started this journey in January 2021 this final step seemed so far away, but here I am in the home stretch with all A’s and ready to teach and learn!
