Series 43 sees the return of some of your favourite Evolving World themes since launch. Deep dive into Mexico’s nightlife, with extended night cycles and the return of neon in Mexico! Legend has it, Aeródromo en la Selva can be seen from space when it’s neon lights are turned on, but we’re not quite sure! You’ll always be hurtling passed neon decorations during racing events. Try to focus on the track though! You can also expect to see the return of the drone show over the airstrip, neon cube collectables at the Horizon Street Scene Outpost (week 4 only), and the return of the Neon Tank photo decorations at different locations during each week of the playlist. Select your favourite cinematic start screen This new feature starts slightly earlier than the Midnight Muscle playlist. From 28th January, the top-voted start screen videos will all be available at your fingertips for you to choose and watch at your leisure. We know what you’re thinking, “how am I ever going to choose?”. Well don’t worry, there will be a shuffle option to show a different random start up every time you boot! Release Notes / Planned Bug Fixes Remember to continue submitting any bugs you experience in-game. It’s the only way the developers know what needs fixing! Planned bug fixes in series 43 will include, but not be limited be to: > The Series 40 “ISO 200” Treasure Hunt challenge will be marked as completed retroactively, due to a glitch during the series, preventing some players from completing it. > All cars in Horizon Backstage will now be ordered by date added. > The widebody front splitter can now be painted on the ’71 Skyline 2000 GTR. > Lamps on the ’14 Ford UTE will no longer show CH_1 for some players when braking. To submit a new issue, click here - When can I access the new content? The new playlist starts 30th January! You can expect to see other new features, such as the new start screen options, from 28th January. What's Next - Series 44 & beyond (Playlist Voting) Starting 30th January, players will be in control! Every series, players will have the option to vote for what’s next, from two pre-determined former series updates. Voting will begin on day one of the series and run until the end of week three. The winning playlist will then be published on a dedicated tab during week four, so you know what’s coming! It is worth noting that there will be some differences between previous playlists being re-added now. This may be new / replaced EventLabs, Rally and Hot Wheels events which weren’t previously there, Backstage Pass rewards, and there could also be reward cars which are more suitable to the specific playlist theme. We will update you on this more in due course. Hopefully, new players will enjoy Mexico’s early-day playlists, and veteran players will enjoy a trip down memory lane.
