This is the one subject I disagree with the most. I really think it would have affected the game in a big way. Playing in a morgue is not going to help the team. I completely agree with you! The tactics were definitely off, and the formation was way too defensive.

@callum_southend Yeah maybe so 😆 having a half empty roots hall doesn't achieve anything, especially the east, I don't mean to be rude but the atmosphere there 😁

Unfortunately, it seems like football teams are only successful these days by spending money. Even if we made a loss the atmosphere in my opinion would have made the difference.

@callum_southend I've got to be honest I don't agree. Not only would it have given the team a huge boost, but think of the revenue from progressing in the competition. In my opinion, it was a real error in judgment. If ticket prices had been rock-bottom, the stadium would have been packed.

Roots Hall should be full to capacity. It’s a clear error in judgment from the consortium. They should be making ticket prices dirt cheap and filling the stadium. A full stadium brings so much energy, and the players feed off that atmosphere. It would make the difference. ⤵️

From the highlights, it looked like a complete contrast to how we played against Charlton. There seemed to be no desire, no urgency, certainly no forward threat. It was like we just didn’t have that same energy or drive, and it really showed.

First off, congratulations to #Sittingbourne. I just caught the highlights, thanks to @d1versity3, and I’m still in shock. The defending was absolutely terrible, I've never seen anything like it. The errors were so basic, and it felt like no one was really switched on.

@shrimp_sammy Maybe Southend will score if there’s no goalkeeper. 😆

@Anna_Firth @SUFCRootsHall It’s disappointing, but I’m sure we’ll get there eventually. Also, I really enjoy your work on GB News—keep it up! 👍

@NicaraguaVisit @CJPhillips1982 I appreciate your directness and honesty Louise. I wasn’t at the game, so I’m not fully sure what happened, but it sounds like we weren’t being aggressive enough in pushing forward.
