I predict that 4 years from now the majority of MAGA will be pretending they never supported Trump in the first place. A minority will be making excuses and a handful will be chanting "The storm is coming!"

Watched the DeSantis talk at the Federalist Society. One amazing item, but not really surprising, was him talking about how he's never used polling. The man leads by principle, not by Political Barometer.

All this DODGE stuff is really just confirming what anyone paying attention already knew. Right, wrong, legal? I don't know. I enjoy the info being made public. If Trump was a smart man he'd use the bully pulpit, get the citizens involved making calls and forcing Congress to act.

@FoolOtto No one does the job better than Gov DeSantis. Knowing he’ll get little if any public support from the WH, he’s decided to leave Trump in the rear view & just do it. What real leaders do. While Trump will try to take credit for it. Which is what those who lead from behind do.

@redangel64 Anecdotal. The guy I've been working with for the past 2 weeks is super-ultra-MAGA on the Trump train. Thing is, he hasn't a clue what's going on outside of what Trump says. He doesn't know any cabinet picks. Anything not getting done is "the swamp" working against Trump.
