Next up is the 107! It's definitely a jump from the 90 proof we just had. I never could figure out why this is double the price vs 12 yr at retail, but half the cost on secondary. I guess age matters.

Found this producer at a tasting with Jeremy Parzen. Love their wines, this Pinot Bianco delicious and loved their Pinot Noir.

@FrankFuent18193 @WildTurkey I get it, everyone doesn't like every producer. I gotta ask, how long have you been enjoying bourbon? I find new drinkers don't go to Turkey early but the end up there and it becomes a favorite. I'm wondering about your journey?

@MarcDAmour2 Absolutely agree on the price. I always appreciate when friends share a pour of a 21, 25, or 30 yr old with me. It's definitely out of my budget as well. Per my wife!

@MarcDAmour2 15 is my ceiling. After that I feel there's too much oak on the bourbon. If we're talking Scotch, sky's the limit! I have had 25 yr and 30 yr that are delicious. Big reasons are the cooler climate and used barrels.

When your daughter asks for Chicken n Waffles for our Sunday brunch, of course I say "Sure". I used to crap on this dish, I was wrong, it's become a favorite. It's been a couple of years since my Top 5 breakfast episode, I need to re-do it and see how my list has changed.

The sous vide braised short ribs over ricotta gnocchi was delicious. The rich gravy on the Ribs with the tomato sauce on the gnocchi played very well together. Will definitely make this again.
